• Opened in June 1, 1989 under the name Niederlausitz Pharmacy Museum
• The building dates from 1900
• Pharmacy history in Cottbus started in March 24, 1568 when Dr. Peter Hosemann ( Cnemiander), founded the first pharmacy in Cottbus.
